Nordic neo-funk bassist/vocalist Maya Vik has been compared to Prince and Janet Jackson by The New York Times, and has found fans in both Vice and Perez Hilton.

Currently working on her new as-yet-untitled album, due for release in 2015, Vik has a team of producers behind her including Lindstrøm, Funkin Matt, Mathias Stubø and Pat Lukens. Already a success in her home country of Norway, Vik is now hoping to replicate that across the globe.
